WHAT TO DO

  • Go on a hike: Dragon’s Back and Wilson’s Trail on Tai Tam are my favorites, can also check out Twin Peaks if you want a challenge

  • Take the ferry to different islands (Lamma and Cheung Chau are my favorites): hike, relax at the beach, ride bikes, eat seafood

  • Take the cable car up to Lantau Island and see the Big Buddha (or you can hike up)

  • Check out the beaches: Repulse Bay, Big Wave Bay in Shek O, Tai Long Wan in Sai Kung, Hung Shing Ye in Lamma Island are my favorites

  • Take the tram to the Peak to see the view of HK

  • Go to Ozone Bar (highest bar in the world, view of HK)

  • Take the Star Ferry from HK Island to TST (Kowloon)

  • Go out to bars and clubs in Lan Kwai Fong

  • Check out the night markets in Kowloon (Ladies Market, Temple St Market, etc.)

  • Walk around Stanley Market

  • Go to the horse races in Happy Valley Racecourse

  • Eat lots of dimsum and drink lots of milk tea!

  • Take a day trip to Macau (visit the casinos, watch the river dance show)
