Giulia's Tuna Tomato Pasta (Pasta al Tonno)
Ingredients:
Spaghetti (or any pasta of choice)
1 Canned tuna (in olive oil, not water)
2 Shallots or Yellow onions
1 Canned peeled tomatoes
Olive oil
Salt & pepper
Garnish with parsley (optional)
Steps:
Boil water and cook the spaghetti
Chop shallots (or yellow onions) and sauté in olive oil on the pan
Squeeze excess oil out of canned tuna and add into pan
Add canned tomatoes into the pan and simmer
Add salt and pepper to taste
Add cooked spaghetti into the pan and mix with the sauce
